Set to arrive in early July, this new Air Jordan Retro 5 colorway has already been slapped with an "Independence Day" nickname. Seen here in detail is a grade school size of the upcoming retro, which features a white full-grain and patent leather upper with Midnight Navy Blue working the inner liner and midsole. Varsity Red appears on the tongue lining, Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel, lacelocks and speckled midsole "teeth" design. Completing the look below is a blue-tinted translucent outsole.

You’ve probably seen them a dozen times now in photo galleries and videos, and may have even paid the price to get a pair early, but take a look again at the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Cardinal” before it hits retailers. Jordan Brand released official photos of the sneakers today, as well as confirmed the June 18th release date we’ve known about since mid-March. This weekend’s release will mark the 3rd for the Cardinals. Originally released in 1992, the sneakers were first retro’ed just 5 years ago in 2006. Retail price will be $150 and they’ll be able at most Jordan Brand distributors.
